Telex method

aa, aw, ee, oo, ow, uw and dd shape letters; s, f, r, x and j add the five tones.

Tone placement and Unicode

The engine selects the tone-bearing vowel, handles q+u and g+i exceptions, then normalizes the word as NFC.
